The Employment, Pension and Welfare Advancement Coalition(EWPAC) is a political NGO of Korea which has been newly established in pursuit of a totally different idea from existent Korean parties ― the advancement of employment, pension and welfare ― in order to realize equality of opportunity, dignity and value of human beings, rights to pursue their happiness, and fundamental human rights guaranteed by the Constitution for commoners(low-income bracket) and middle-class in Korea,
The Employment, Pension and Welfare Advancement Coalition has a central NGO in Seoul, and five city and provincial parties nationwide, As a nation-registered political NGO, its arrangement committee to establish the NGO was set up in summer in 2014 and completed to be registered in National Election Commission in March 2015.
The NGO leader of the Coalition is Mr. Myong-Yong Juch, who has been engaged in NGO activities for 28 years in America and Korea. He has greatly contributed to enhancement of rights and interests of minority races in the US, and returned to Korea and built up the Korean Association of Retired Persons(KARP) in 2002. For 14 years from then on, he has committed to introducing, settling and expanding retirement culture of advanced countries, against aging society in Korea.
The short-term political goal of the Coalition is to enter into the National Assembly in General Election scheduled to be in April 2016, and its long-term goal is to maximize the welfare standard of Korea in the end, through modifying, complementing and developing the employment and pension schemes, so that all the Korean citizens can lead humane life without being discriminated.
To put the goal into reality, the Coalition pushes forward three fundamental strategies, which are the advancement of employment, welfare and pension, and seven political issues.
The Employment, Pension and Welfare Advancement Coalition will actively welcome participation and exchange with all the political parties, groups and individuals home and abroad, who have in common with political ideas and purposes. Even those with different ideas and purposes, if they meet the sound and productive conditions, the Coalition can accept any ideas and suggestions.
